Bowen Rug, 5x8

The rug itself is super beautiful and I immediately loved it (and still do!). However, it is marketed as being good for high traffic areas. For this reason, I thought it would be suitable for a home with a dog. That has not been the case so far. We’ve only had it for a couple months and it already has several pulls in the weaving, presumably caused by our dog’s nails. Further, when the rug was first received (right after unrolling), I found a few areas where chunks grass and other materials had been woven in with the wool. It almost seems like bits of nature got caught in the sheep’s wool and ended up in the final product. It could not have been from our dog, as this was observed immediately after unrolling the rug (honestly, not a deal breaker, but this is just an FYI for the company in case they want to review the fabrication process).
