Free delivery? What's the catch?

It's true. Sundays provides complimentary delivery on all items, regardless of size or price to all Canadian provinces and across the continental US. For larger items, including sofas, beds and dining tables, we also provide free in-home assembly and removal of packaging. There is no catch—we feel that delivery and set up should be as efficient as possible.

If you would like to ship your order to the Canadian Territories, Hawaii or Alaska please reach out to our Customer Care team to support processing your order. Note, an incremental shipping fee will apply.

Do you provide assembly instructions?

Because our larger pieces include complimentary delivery and assembly, we do not currently have assembly instructions available on our website. Please reach out to us via phone, email, or live chat and we would be happy to send them to you directly.

Do you offer a warranty on your products?

Our warranty covers any confirmed imperfections in manufacturing or craftsmanship for up to two years, beginning the day your order arrives at your home.

Please note that our warranty only applies when products are used for their intended purposes and becomes void when our pieces are modified in any way. Defects or damages resulting from misuse, accidents, modifications, natural disasters (including water and fire), and regular wear and tear will not be covered by our warranty.

Solid wood pieces may experience warping, cracking, and splitting due to environmental conditions, such as changes in humidity. If these pieces have not been properly maintained as per our care recommendations, they will not fall under our warranty.

Fading, pilling, and staining of upholstery, compression of cushion fillings, and reasonable degrees of wear caused by everyday use and/or a lack of regular maintenance is not included in our warranty.

Our warranty is non-transferable, and does not extend to resale, second-hand, final sale, or floor model pieces. It also does not apply to products that are used for commercial purposes, unless those products are listed as commercial grade.

Do you have commercial grade products?

Yes! A number of our pieces are commercial grade—which means they are tested for use in commercial settings. You can see the assortment here

Which sofa size fits my need?

To help you find the right size for your needs, we provide detailed dimensions for all our products. We recommend leaving at least 2 feet for walkways. We offer both condo and regular size on some of our best selling sofa collections. If you have a smaller space, we have a number of 2.5 seater sofas. And if you have questions, we're here to help!

Can I order a swatch before purchasing a product?

Yes! Our free swatches make it easy to find a fabric that feels right for your space. You can order directly from our website—look for the “Order Free Swatches” section on our product pages. Once your order is placed, your swatch will arrive via mail within 1-2 weeks.

Can I purchase slipcovers for my Movie Night™ sofa?

Yes you can! We have slipcovers available in both the large size and the standard size.

Where are your products made?

Our product line is designed by our team in Vancouver, Canada. We work with factories in Asia and Europe to create modern pieces that work together in our curated collections.

How do you approach sustainability at Sundays?

We believe that true sustainability is the whole life-cycle of a product, so quality, natural materials, and multi-functionality are integral to our philosophy at Sundays. We truly believe in reducing our environmental footprint, through "fewer, better things," quality furniture, and timeless design that stands the test of time.

Our product team works directly with our factory partners to identify opportunities for improvement, including replacing the use of styrofoam with sustainable packaging where possible with a goal of eliminating the use of styrofoam in our packaging, without impacting the integrity of the piece. As primarily a direct-to-consumer brand, we strive to reduce travel of our pieces before they arrive in our customers' homes and offer a free swatch program to minimize additional travel for returns. Returned items are donated to local charities when possible. Internally, we continue to educate ourselves about further ways to contribute to a more sustainable future through our products and operations.

What kind of sofa is best for pet owners?

The best sofas for dogs that shed are leather. Cats are a little trickier as they can scratch the leather – we recommend advising your cat not to scratch your sofa! 

What kind of sofa is best for families with young children?

Looking for a sofa that fits the whole family during movie nights, can withstand kids jumping on it, and still look stylish? Check out our favourite family-friendly sofas below. 

The Sunday Sectional is a solid choice, constructed from a solid wood frame with nozag springs. Its Graphite colour camouflages accidents well, and its cotton, linen, and polyester blend upholstery is easy to spot clean. Large back cushions leave plenty of space for the family to sprawl out. 

The Movie Night™ Modular Sectionals are great for spills due to the LiveSmart stain resistant fabric. The cushion covers are removable and can be dry cleaned as well.

Look for the feature "reversible cushions." Many of our sofas have this great feature. Along with being removable, cushions that can be flipped are great for hiding stains, as well as for the longevity of your sofa.

Our furniture is rated for everyday residential use, and is designed to be well-loved and to last. Of course, when it comes to children and pets, mishaps can happen. Think of them as happy accidents! Spills, stains, and markings simply add to the character of our pieces. Over time, your furniture will patina gorgeously and become truly, uniquely yours.

Do you have any vegan sofa options?

We do! Our fabric Unwind and Sunday collections are great for non feather-filled, animal-friendly options. 

Are the colours shown in photos accurate?

We aim to present the colour and texture of each product as accurately as possible. All photos on our website are taken by professional photographers with lighting conditions that reflect residential settings. How these photos are displayed on individual screens may vary. If you’re unsure about a colour, get in touch with us and we will happily send you a free swatch.

How do returns work?

You can return regular price items for exchange or refund in new condition with original packing within 30 days of delivery. We charge a flat rate return shipping fee of $150 per item (or $75 for items that can be shipped via small parcel), which will be applied against your refund or exchange.

If you do not have the original packaging, a return re-packaging fee of $75 will be applied.

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns in our showrooms. Please contact our customer care team to arrange your return.

I am new to your website and I am concerned about submitting my credit card information online. Is it safe to place an order on your site?

Yes, submitting your credit information on our website is safe. All information inputted into our website is encrypted and we will do our best to protect its security in our systems. Specifically, every web page on our site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, which makes all information inputted unreadable should anyone try to intercept it.

Will you sell or distribute my information to other companies?

No. We'll only communicate with you if you want to hear from us and we will never provide your information to other companies. If you prefer not to receive emails from us, please unsubscribe from our mailing list or contact us to let us know.

Do you charge sales tax?

We charge sales tax in provinces or states where we are required to by law. Any applicable taxes will be displayed clearly at checkout.

Can I pay for my order in instalments?

Yes, we have partnered with Affirm, allowing you to split your purchase into regular payments. We offer monthly instalment payments, for orders from $200 to $15,000.

Do you have showrooms?

We’re proud to offer direct-to-consumer products so that our customers get long-lasting, affordable pieces. At Sundays, we work directly with our factory partners — this means we are able to be more accountable for each piece in our collection and maintain luxury quality at more accessible price points.

If you're in the Vancouver, BC area, we have a showroom located at 1515 West 6th Avenue. If you're in the Toronto, ON area, our showroom is located at 113 Ossington Avenue. If you are in Calgary, we are located at the Beltline. You can find more information about our showrooms here.

Additionally, we know it’s hard to get a sense of furniture that you can’t physically see and touch. That’s why we offer free swatches and a tightly curated collection.
